Moody Arizona Off-Road Elopement with a Bronco

elopement couple kissing next to a black and white Ford Bronco with a waterfall behind.

I had so much fun with David & Amanda for this moody Arizona off-road elopement styled shoot with their Ford Bronco! Okay so these two have actually been married for over 10 years, but they are seriously relationship goals!! I met Amanda & David a few years back at the Love on Earth Workshop I attended that they modeled for and we have been insta buddies ever since! They are also full-time RVers (you can follow their amazing adventures on instagram @therollinboles) and when we realized we were both in AZ recently we decided it would be fun to do another styled shoot! David had been itching to get some awesome photos with their new Bronco and I personally LOVE off-road style elopements so it was a win win!

I met them where they were staying and photographed them getting ready in their adorable RV. Of course had to give their sweet fur baby Bailey lot's of scritches as well and make sure to include her in some photos. We then headed off to the canyon where we planned to do an awesome OHV route!

At first the rainy weather forecast seriously bummed us out as we were hoping for a nice sunny day, but the rain ended up being the best thing that could have happened. The waterfalls all through the canyon and moody vibe that the rain created for these photos is to die for. I want to shoot all the rainy days in the desert now! We had so much fun exploring this amazing canyon not far from Phoenix, AZ. I will emphasize that you want to make sure you are super careful about entering slot canyons on rainy days... be sure to check for warnings and make sure you have a plan and know what you are doing. Too much rain could have been extremely dangerous and it's not recommended to risk it.

If you are considering doing an off-road elopement in Arizona, I would be more than happy to help you plan and capture your amazing day! Reach out and let's make it happen!

  1. The red of the rocks plus the thriving green vegetation/cactuses is giving me LIFE!!! This is such an epic shoot and the bronco makes it even more awesome. Makes me want to get married all over again!!

  2. Wow, these two look like they had an incredible adventure with you! You’ve captured their story so well and they have some incredible memories to cherish, thanks for sharing!

  3. Digging the chill vibes and the moodiness that the rain brought. So good. Also, what a great thing you had a Bronco to get around. Looks like some deep puddles! Good note about staying safe with entering slot canyons too.
