WHY DO I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHING ELOPEMENTS?

Elopements, to me, feel so much more authentic and meaningful.

I photographed big traditional weddings for over 10 years, and while they were pretty fun to do, they didn’t truly align with what a day all about you two should be. I find more joy and inspiration in the smaller weddings where I can take the time to creatively document the true connection of couples, like you, who want something a bit different and more intimate for their day.

I also love being in nature and feel there is no better venue than what Mother Nature gives us. No two days are the exact same out there which only adds to the uniqueness of your amazing adventure!

By using zoom calls and questionnaires, I can get to know your dreams, hopes, and expectations to ensure that everything goes smoothly on the day. Just wanting something really quick? This allows for a quick ceremony and some epic couples photos. This package is only available to be booked within 4 months of wedding date, and is subject to travel fees if more than 50 mi. from 86336.

frequently asked questions

Yes, I take $1700 upon booking to secure the date in my calendar. This also helps cover the initial planning I help with right away, as well as getting travel and accommodations booked. This retainer is non-refundable.

No. I do compile a list of suggested vendors and activities, but you are responsible for actually booking those vendors!

This depends entirely on the locations you are eloping in, but yes, sometimes permits are required. I will walk you through the process to obtain them, but again you are responsible for securing the proper permits, passes, etc. required in your location.

I am ordained by the Universal Life Church and can sign off on your marriage certificate in many locations. (not all locations accept this) It is difficult for me to photograph and officiate at the same time though, so in this case it is more you two just reading your own vows to each other and proclaiming your marriage and then I just sign the paperwork!
