A Rainbow Kissed Family Session in Cottonwood, AZ
It’s always extra fun when I get to work with friends. I absolutely loved photographing family photos for my friend Lauren and her awesome kiddos. When the day of the session arrived, the weather was beautiful for most of the day. Of course, right around the time we planned to meet, some dramatic storm clouds started rolling in. We debated whether or not to continue, but decided to go for it and see if we could still get some great photos in before the holidays.
We met up at Cliff Rose Trail in Cottonwood, Arizona, a scenic spot I absolutely love and visit often with my dog. The trail has stunning views of Mingus Mountain on one side and Sedona in the distance on the other, and it often treats us to beautiful sunsets. While we did get rained on a little during the session, pushing through ended up being the best decision. Toward the end of our time together, a gorgeous rainbow appeared and made a perfect addition to their family photos.
